It’s been a while since we talked, and I wanted to let you know that things are HOPPING at RAMM right now! We have ramped up our social media skills – and Debbie has been busy answering the tough equine questions about horse fencing and stalls. If you are starting a project and something just doesn’t seem right to you – ASK DEBBIE! With her 40+ years of horse experience (and she doesn’t look a day over 35!) Debbie can help you with all of your toughest questions.
On Facebook, we’ve all been busy posting fun events and things happening with all of the horses here at RAMM HQ. We’ve gotten some great feedback – and it’s been quite lively there lately. On Twitter, we’ve been making lots of new friends and having a great time!
Now, I’ve saved the best for last. I convinced Debbie to come on board Google+. If you are not familiar with that yet – Google has started something that’s a bit of Facebook, Twitter, and dozens of other social media sites all rolled into on, called Google Plus. I have a fantastic time there and it’s been great fun talking with Debbie there and having a “HANGOUT.” What’s that, you ask? Join us there and find out! It’s still in Beta (meaning you need to get an invitation to get in) – but we both have lots and lots of invitations, so if you’d like one, just post a comment here with your email and we’ll be sure to get you one. It’s a fantastic place to talk about horses and show off your best pictures and video and we’re both big fans of it!
So, we hope you’ll join us wherever you see RAMM on the web; whether it’s on Facebook, or Twitter, or YouTube – or now on Google+. We’re looking forward to talking with you all! See you in the social media world!!

Arena Conditioning May Be Just What the Doctor Ordered!

So how do you break down the hard clumps, eliminate the deep furrow along the rail or the wall, and level out the uneven ground? Spending hours of hand raking and hosing is like gardening without reaping the benefits. In fact, the next ride brings you right back to square one. Homemade drags can work well on the surface, but generally don’t do much to eliminate clumping or uneven areas.
